70 St Mary Axe
A new addition to the City of London skyline in 2018 is 70 St Mary Axe. At 90 metres tall it’s dwarfed by the rapidly growing angular cluster around it. The curves of its semi-elliptical design compliment its larger neighbour, the Gherkin (30 St Mary Axe). This unusual design has earned it the unofficial name the ‘Can of Ham’.
